With over 30 years of experience, Neil’s expertise spans from hands on field testing and supervision to numerical modelling, analysis, design and comprehensive reporting. His portfolio includes both small-scale studies and large-scale projects in the private and public sectors, including mine dewatering, environmental impact assessments, remediation, and mining undertaken.
Neil prioritises the needs of clients, regulators and stakeholders when faced with technical challenges. His diverse background in hydrogeology includes contaminant transport, aquifer characterisation, numerical modelling, remediation and groundwater interception systems.
Neil has worked on open pit and underground mines, from field investigations to numerical modelling and reporting. He completed numerical modelling projects for the Seymour Falls Dam seismic upgrade, modelling uplift pressures during seismic events, and the Rum Jungle Rehabilitation project for the Northern Territory Government of Australia. Neil’s field experience includes numerous projects in Northern Canada involving pumping tests, pumping well installations and packer testing in permafrost conditions.
