I am dedicated to fostering meaningful and mutually-beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities that are built on trust, transparency and open communication. I believe that projects should enhance and support the social fabric of communities.

Randy brings a proven track record of delivering projects on time through effective collaboration with Indigenous communities, industry partners and provincial and federal government agencies. He has developed and maintained meaningful, long-term relationships with Indigenous communities across Canada, particularly in British Columbia and Manitoba.

In his previous role with the Canadian Coast Guard, Randy led the development and delivery of Indigenous engagement strategies and Indigenous rights accommodation measures while aligning with the Government of Canada’s key priorities and commitments. He is also experienced in developing and executing Indigenous benefits plans with communities where infrastructure and project work takes place on traditional or unceded territories.

Key to his success is Randy’s ability to build trust-based relationships with Indigenous senior leaders, including hereditary and elected Chiefs and Councils. In addition, he is experienced in collaborating with oversight bodies like the First Nations Fisheries Council, the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee, Reconciliation Framework Agreement signatories, external stakeholders and various levels of government. He has also established contracts with local First Nation community artists to contribute functional and artistic pieces to projects, representing the communities through storytelling and ancestral heritage.

Randal obtained a Master of Arts degree in leadership from Royal Roads University in British Columbia, Canada.
