Eddie's extensive experience in the minerals industry encompasses management of process teams; process and engineering design activities and deliverables; sampling programmes and protocols; scoping and supervision of metallurgical test work; managing and lead process roles for concept through to feasibility studies; detail process design; plant commissioning and ramp-up for project delivery; brownfields evaluations, technical support to operations for optimisation and expansion.
His minerals processing and extractive metallurgy experience is principally for precious metals (gold, silver), base metals (copper, lead, nickel, zinc), mineral sands and industrial minerals, for which he is recognised as a leader in processing strategies and cost effective plant design.
He has been a key part of team efforts in studies, projects, site evaluations and brownfield operation reviews in Australia and in many of the main mining centres and mineral provinces around the world. Eddie has managed and directed regional and national groups of process engineers, and has provided technical support to international group offices.
Eddie is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM).
