Commissioning

From small, stand-alone projects to large, complex projects, we ensure every system and component of our clients’ infrastructure, plants and equipment is designed, built and tested to perform at its best once operations begin.

At Ausenco, commissioning is not the final step, it’s the critical phase where a plant is safely and systematically brought to life. Our structured approached is designed to de-risk start-up, ensuring a smooth transition from construction completion to stable, name plate production.

Success begins with planning. During detailed engineering, our experts develop comprehensive commissioning plans, documentation, and risk assessments. Using a modular approach that provides a clear path forward, we break down facilities into Process Commissioning Modules (PCMs) and Commissioning Areas (CAs), creating a clear roadmap for start-up that allows progressive handover of critical systems.

Our commissioning process is executed in distinct, sequential phases, with every piece of equipment and system thoroughly verified before moving to the next level of integration. This staged progressive approach allows for a safe and controlled handover, system by system, until the entire plant is ready for full production. We view commissioning not as the end of a project but as the foundation of its future success, delivering confidence that assets are ready to generate long-term value.
