Great engineering is not about making things complicated; it’s about making the complex simple, the simple elegant, and the elegant innovative.

As a materials handing engineer, Daniel specialises in the design and optimisation of bulk materials handling facilities, with a focus on ports and terminals, machine design, and moving architecture. He is passionate about helping clients solve complex problems by providing tailored, fit-for-purpose solutions that deliver value in the mining, transportation, waste and buildings industries.

Daniel has overseen numerous terminal projects, ranging from concept studies to detailed design and construction. He collaborates closely with clients to identify solutions and enhance the performance of new and existing assets. With specific experience in designing ship loaders and other mobile machines, he offers specialised consulting for condition assessments and equipment inspections. His expertise includes prefeasibility and feasibility studies, concept development, detailed design, inspections, condition assessments, and technical specifications. Daniel has experience with a variety of commodities, including iron ore, ores and concentrates, coal, bauxite, aggregate, cement, limestone, timber and recycled products.
