Pipeline integrity management is critical to the long-term success of our clients’ projects. Our model ensures the safe and reliable operation of the fluid transport pipeline systems throughout all stages of the lifecycle.

Luis Alberto is an Asset / Pipeline Integrity Specialist, that is leading the development of Integrity Services in the industry. He supports his clients by offering strategies that prevent, manage, and mitigate risks for their pipeline systems, resulting in a systemic and holistic approach that reduces costs and improves safety throughout the pipeline’s lifecycle. At Ausenco, he has led the implementation of the Asset Integrity Data Management area, to provide high value dedicated services to our clients.

He has been responsible for the continued development of Ausenco’s pipelines integrity services, including Pipeline Advisor™ (Ausenco’s Leak Detection Software) to provide solutions that add value to our clients’ assets. His relevant experience includes asset management, risk-based asset/pipelines integrity management (PIMS/FIMS), QA/QC, conformity assessments and digital transformation.

In his previous executive roles, he oversaw the implementation of PIMS and engineering reliability methodologies and led multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in Latin America. Prior to joining Ausenco, he was responsible for leading the implementation and development of a comprehensive asset & integrity management system and engineering reliability strategy for a major mining client.

Luis Alberto is leading Ausenco’s Integrity Team for the implementation of long-term integrity & engineering projects for two of the major copper mines in Chile, delivering integrity and engineering services for the mine’s slurry, tailings and water pipelines systems. The projects incorporate a multidisciplinary team, with over 130,000 planned execution hours throughout 5 years.

Luis Alberto is a Maintenance Engineer, MBA(International Business), MSc. in Environmental Direction, count with a post-graduate degree in Quality Engineering, an Advanced Diploma in Project Management and an Advanced Diploma in Digital Transformation.
