Robin has specific expertise in the provision of project-based services, including metallurgical testing, process and equipment design, commercial operations support and evaluation of development projects. He has a solid track record for proposing, managing and completing evaluations of mineral processing and metallurgical projects, including scoping, prefeasibility, and bankable feasibility studies for owners and third-party clients, as well as preparing regulatory compliance reports.
Robin has extensive experience in leading and contributing to the commissioning, start up and initial operation of complex commercial metallurgical plants, as well as technical evaluation and optimization of existing operations. He brings strong analytical skills and has a history of successfully analysing and evaluating mining and metals projects of varied scope and value, including the review of operating information and financial statements and for creating new opportunities for cooperation.
Prior to his role leading the Asset Management and Operational Readiness team at Ausenco, Robin led the company’s Transportation and Logistics team, the eastern Canada Sustainability team, and was the director of Ausenco’s metals and minerals business in Western Canada. He brings a broad perspective and knowledge of the company’s relevant services and expertise to conversations and project challenges.
