Robin has specific expertise in the provision of project-based services, including metallurgical testing, process engineering, commercial operations and techno-economic evaluation of development projects.
He has a solid track record for managing and completing evaluations of mineral processing and metallurgical projects. This includes scoping, prefeasibility and bankable feasibility studies for owners and third-party clients, as well as preparing regulatory compliance reports.
Robin has extensive experience in leading and contributing to the commissioning, startup and initial operation of complex metallurgical plants, as well as the technical evaluation and optimisation of existing operations. He brings strong analytical skills and has successfully evaluated mining and metals projects of varied scope and value, including the review of operating information and financial statements and creating new opportunities for cooperation.
Robin brings a broad perspective and knowledge of the company’s relevant services and expertise to conversations and project challenges. Prior to his role leading the global business development team at Ausenco, Robin led several of the company’s specialty practices, including transportation and logistics, environmental consulting, and asset optimisation and operational readiness. He also established the company’s advisory and sustainability practice.
