James leads global teams and has extensive experience in international health, safety and environmental requirements. His experience spans a broad range of industries, including defence and security, mining and mineral processing, infrastructure and construction, maritime operations, heavy industrial manufacturing, and business services such as hospitality and consulting.
Currently overseeing 14 global projects, James consistently delivers high levels of performance across diverse cultural environments. His ability to build a strong health and safety culture, based on trust, empowerment and support, has strengthened client relationships and generated opportunities.
James has led successful projects in Mexico, Argentina, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Morocco, Mauritania, Australia, Canada, USA, Peru and Chile, while also providing corporate support across other global regions. His involvement spans all phases of the project life cycle, from initial proposals to environmental remediation. This experience has given James a deep understanding of client needs, concerns and challenges, fostering close relationships and leading to ongoing collaboration and support.
James holds multiple qualifications from Central Queensland University in Australia, the National Safety Council of Australia, Advanced Diplomas in Training and Project Management, and an MBA in Health and Safety Administration from the University of Fredericton in Canada. He is also a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE).
