An experienced engineer and project manager, Neil started his career in residential and commercial electrical design and then transitioned to an industrial engineering firm specialising in oil and gas. He then moved into the mining and minerals sector, where he provided field engineering services. Currently, Neil leads the design on projects, from pre-feasibility through to detailed design. He effectively collaborates with clients and contractors while overseeing project budgets, schedules and change orders.
Some of Neil’s most recent notable projects include serving as the electrical engineering lead on a carbon capture plant, heading up a team of 15 people to upgrade an existing building. In addition, he was the lead electrical engineer and project manager for the BC Hydro Copper Mountain upgrade, where he successfully managed a tight construction window, delivering the project on time and under budget for the client.
Neil obtained his electricity/electronics diploma and electrical and architectural drafting certificate from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. He is a member of EGBC and has a Professional Licensee Engineering (P.L. Eng) designation.
